My writing

I've been working on writing my own book for a while now, it's challenging. Writing an actual book is harder than writing a poem. I've spent a lot of time thinking through my ideas making sure they are well thought out, cohesive, and well written. I don't want to write a book that dosen't make sense or that isn't fully developed I want to provide my best writing for the world. I've already completed my first chapter and I have already began writing the second one!! Talking about my writing and letting people know what I'm writing and if I'm writing is something completely foreign to me. I've never let ANYONE know about my writing I've always been scared and embarresed, why? I'm not entirely sure why myself, maybe its because my writing has always been my secret it has always been my getaway my escape from the world, and at times the only place where I felt that I was good enough that I belonged somewhere. Writing is my PASSION its the one thing I feel that I'm actually good at, I never want to do anything else in the world. When I get inspiration for a poem, or story it's an exhilarating feeling. I can be anywhere and BAM! I get an idea, and most of the time I write it down on my arm so I won't forget, I never have paper with me. I can get an Idea from a word, a sentence, a feeling from anything. I love turning simple words like; "Never has" to "Never has a love like this meant anything more to anyone than what it means to me, never has my heart loved so hard and feared losing so much". Writing is what I believe I'm best at, and I'm slowly letting people know that writing is what I want to do for the rest of my life. So just letting you guys know this is a BIG step for me so here I go.......I'm a WRITER and someday I hope and pray that I'll be a published one!!

      I'd tell you guys the name of my book but I haven't decided yet, I'm still playing around with the title. :)

Happy Happy Happy Birthday!!!!

Birthdays who doesn't love them right? The cake, the ice cream, the presents, and all the love from everyone around you! Birthdays are not only great to celebrate because of the cake or presents, but because it's another year that someone has survived this little thing we call life. It's another year that you've been able to share your life with your loved ones. Birthdays should be celebrated because it's the day that your; mother, father, brother, sister, friend was born into this world that eventually made your life better. Birthdays only come around once a year for everyone and why not make that person feel special?? Everyone loves their birthday wether they say they do or don't. Celebrate every birthday every year every chance you get because you never know which one will be their last or yours for that reason. So if your birthday is coming up or recently passed HAPPY BIRTHDAY and may you have many many more to come .

19 year old Zoe Everett

A 19 year old college student went from worrying about exams and what party to go to, to being a mother in a blink of an eye. Zoe Everett from New Jersey lost both her parents in hurricane Sandy when a tree feel on their car, her brothers Theo and Pierce were also in the car but survived with minor bumps and bruises. Zoe quit school to raise her 3 siblings, all Zoe was asking for was to be able to come up with $5,000 dollars to get by for a few months untill lawyers figure out how to procede with her parents estate. And in an overwhelming help from complete strangers they raised over $56,000 dollars in one day!! Many people offered their help from driving her siblings to school or a simple shoulder to cry on. I applaud Zoe for being a brave young woman to take on such a role as mother and father. She dose'nt have to put her life on hold, she dose'nt have to raise her brothers and sister she dose'nt have to do any of it, but she is and that my dear friends is extrordinary and brave beyond her years. Such courage and love in one person to take on such a tough role but I'm sure her siblings will forever be grateful for having such an amazing and loving sister I'm sure her parents are beyond proud of her.Best of Luck to you Zoe, Theo, Pierce and Talia and my condolences to your family and all others that have lost a loved one due to hurricane Sandy.
